PRETZEL SALAD | |
2 1/2 c. crushed pretzels 3 tbsp. sugar 2/3 c. melted butter 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese 1/3 c. sugar 8 oz. Cool Whip 1 lg. pkg. strawberry or raspberry Jello 2 c. boiling water 1 pkg. frozen strawberries or raspberries Combine pretzels, 3 tablespoon sugar and melted butter. Press into a 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 5 minutes to brown. Cool. Whip together cream cheese and 1/3 cup sugar. Fold in Cool Whip. Spread over cooled pretzel crust. Chill. Dissolve Jello in boiling water. Fold in frozen berries. Jello will set as berries thaw. Before it completely sets, spread over cream cheese layer. Refrigerate until time to serve. |
