SKILLET RICE CASSEROLE 
1-1 1/2 lb. ground round
1 med. onion, chopped
1/2-1 green pepper, chopped
Salt & pepper to taste
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1/4 c. water
2 c. cooked long grain brown rice
1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1 can French style green beans, drained

Sprinkle lightly over entire surface.

In large skillet brown ground round and drain off all grease. Add next 4 ingredients and stir. Then add tomato sauce, water and green beans. Stir then simmer about 15 minutes. Add rice and mix well. Sprinkle cheese over all. Cover and heat on low until melted (about 10 minutes). Variation: 3 cans tomato sauce and 3 cups rice omit cheese.
