ITALIAN EASTER BREAD 
10-12 c. flour
1 c. sugar
3 c. lukewarm milk
1 c. raisins (optional)
1/4 c. warm water
8 beaten eggs
1/2 c. oil
4 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt

Beat eggs and oil, add sugar, salt and vanilla. Beat well. Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water. Make well in flour. Add all ingredients, mix well. Let rise in bowl until doubled. Punch down. Let rise in greased pans. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes.
