BEEF JERKY | |
Use meat that has been cut across the grain, approximately 1" wide and 1/4" thick. 1/4 - 1/2 c. soy sauce 1 tsp. onion flakes 1 tsp. Hickory salt or 3 tbsp. Liquid Smoke 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce or 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper 1/4 c. water 1/2 tsp. pepper Mix all ingredients together. Then add meat. Refrigerate 12 hours. Turning several times, drain and place strips on dehydrator trays. Dry until hard. I use a plastic bag for marinating the meat as it was easier to turn. Barnstompin' "Rebels" |
