MEXICAN MACARONI 
2 lb. pork sausage
1 c. chopped onion
1 c. chopped green pepper
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
3 tsp. chili powder
2 c. canned tomatoes
2 c. buttermilk
2 c. uncooked elbow macaroni

Brown sausage, onion and green pepper in large (really large) skillet. Break the meat apart as it browns. Stir in sugar, salt and chili powder. Add remaining ingredients; stir. Cover and simmer 25-30 minutes, stirring occasionally until macaroni is done.
