More like a fluffy chocolate cake then true brownies. Would try to go with actual chocolate than cocoa powder. Added a powder sugar glaze.

It's not the best brownie recipe I've ever experienced; but it's good. I used hot cocoa mix though, so that could be a factor. I also felt 30 minutes was too long in the oven and ended up pulling the pan out at about 27 (leaving the edges somewhat crispy but the center that perfect chewiness). In all honesty, I think that (some) boxed brownies are easier and cook slightly better, but this is definitely an overall good recipe.

Can I use olive oil for this recipe?

I used coconut oil instead of butter, 5 tbsp. of pernigotti cocoa, and a cup of chopped walnuts. These were so delicious. They weren't as sweet as a box mix, which is good. I prefer them less sweet. This is a keeper recipe.

I just finished making these and...they were great for what they are. I didn't have cocoa powder so I used 2 packets of Swiss-Miss chocolate lovers hot chocolate and added a couple of teaspoons of brown sugar. it was great only baked for 25 minutes at 350°F in a 9x13 pan I don't have a square pan.

This is the easiest, best tasting homemade brownie EVER!!! My husband didn't like brownies but when he tasted these, he couldn't stop eating them. I had to add a 'lil milk and just recently I found some caramel in the fridge that my daughter had made. I shaved it and added to the brownie mix and its really scrumptious. Thanks for the best brownie recipe.

These brownies were only ok. They were very cakey and overall just so so. I did not alter the recipe, I made it exactly as stated. I am a chocolate lover and would have enjoyed a more fudgey, chocolatey brownie (I used Ghiradelli cocoa in the brownies).

Super easy - I followed exactly; next time I would reduce sugar slightly. Big hit and took no time at all!!

I decided to try these tonight. I do alot of baking and i am an expert. I made several batches but the inside wouldn't get done. Even with overcooking it.

The brownies were okay, but weren't chocolatey enough like a brownie.
