CREAMED DRIED BEEF | |
1/4 lb. dried beef, shredded 4 tbsp. butter 4 tbsp. flour 2 c. milk 4 to 6 slices toast Cook dried beef with butter in skillet 5 minutes or until edges curl. Sprinkle flour over the beef and blend. Remove from heat. Slowly stir in the milk; cook (stirring constantly) over low heat until smooth and thick. Serve on hot, crisp toast. |
