1 1/4 c. butter, softened
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
3/4 c. Hershey's cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 pkg. vanilla chips

Cream softened butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix in flour, cocoa, soda and salt until smooth. Stir in the chips. Drop by teaspoonful onto cookie sheet. Bake on a ungreased cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 8-9 minutes. Let cookies cool for 2 minutes before removing them from the cookie sheet.

Makes 5 dozen.
