PORK CHOPS - SWEET & SOUR 
6 loin pork chops cut 3/4" thick
1 onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 carrot, sliced thin
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. water
1/3 c. vinegar
3 tbsp. light brown sugar
1/4 c. chopped apple
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 tsp. bottled hot pepper sauce

Brown chops in small amount of butter. Pour off excess fat. Add onion, green pepper, carrots. Sprinkle all with salt and pepper and saute about 5 minutes.

Add water, vinegar, brown sugar, apple, soy and hot pepper sauce. Cover simmer 45 minutes or until pork chops are done. Serve with fluffy rice.
