1/2 c. dark brown sugar
1/4 c. seeded raisins
1/8 tsp. salt
7 med. size sweet potatoes (about 2 lbs.)
1 whole orange, sliced thin
1/4 c. orange juice
3 tbsp. butter

Mix together 1/4 cup brown sugar, raisins and salt. Pare and cut sweet potatoes in 1/4 inch lengthwise slices. Place alternate layers of potatoes, whole orange slices and sugar. Mix in greased 1 1/2 quart casserole. Sprinkle top with remaining 1/4 cup brown sugar. Pour in orange juice and dot top with butter. Bake 350 degrees for 1 hour.
