1/2 c. chopped onions 1 tbsp. butter 1 (14 oz.) bottle (1 1/4 c.) extra hot catsup 2 tbsp. pickle relish 1 tbsp. sugar 1 tbsp. vinegar 1/4 tsp. salt Dash pepper 1 lb. (8-10) frankfurters Hot dog rolls Cook (in frying pan) onion in melted butter until tender, but not brown. Stir in catsup, pickle relish, sugar, vinegar and seasonings. Score franks; add to sauce. Simmer until frankfurters are thoroughly heated, about 10 minutes. Serve in rolls. |
