Slash edges of steak so they don't curl up under broiler. Combine oil, vinegar, and soy sauce in a 9 x 13 inch glass casserole. Put in steak; turn over and marinate overnight in the refrigerator, turning once or twice before you go to bed. To cook, remove from marinade. Place on broiler rack close to heat and broil 4 minutes on each side. (Barbecued is even better - meat should be pink inside.) Place on cutting board and slice thinly on the diagonal from narrow end of steak. Be sure to save pan drippings and juice for beef dip.
