FRUIT CAKE COOKIES | |
1/2 c. butter 3 c. flour 1 tsp. cloves 1 tsp. cinnamon 4-5 oz. whiskey, optional 1 lb. pecan halves 1/2 lb. chopped pecans 4 eggs 1 c. brown sugar, packed 1 tsp. nutmeg 1 tsp. brown soda 1/2 lb. candied cherries 1/2 lb. candied pineapple 3/4 lb. white or regular raisins Coarse chop fruit in food processor. Mix batter; add nuts. Mix 1/2 flour with fruit, then add to batter. Spoon on ungreased cookie sheet using heaping teaspoon size. Bake 40 minutes (longer for big cookies) at 250 degrees. |
