1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. butter
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1 wine glass jelly (plum)
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tbsp. milk
1 lb. pecan
1 lb. seedless raisins
1/2 lb. candied cherries
1/2 lb. pineapple
1/2 tsp. each allspice, cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon (omit what you don't like)

Mix butter, sugar, eggs, jelly and spices. Mix soda and milk and add. Then add fruit and nuts. Drop from teaspoon on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 325 degrees about 10 minutes. Test when they spring back when touched.
