FROZEN FRANGO MINT DESSERT | |
1 c. butter 3 squares baking chocolate, melted 3/4 tsp. peppermint flavoring 1 c. vanilla wafer crumbs 2 c. powdered sugar 4 eggs 2 tsp. vanilla Maraschino cherries Nuts Whipped cream Cream butter and sugar. Add melted chocolate and beat. Add eggs and beat. Blend in peppermint and vanilla. Sprinkle 3/4 of crumbs into cupcake liners (use two together). Spoon in the mixture and top with remaining crumbs plus a few chopped nuts if desired. Freeze until firm. Top with whipped cream, cherries, and more nuts. This recipe makes about 2 dozen. They keep well frozen, and they are very nice to serve for a large crowd, since they can be made in advance. |
