ORIENTAL BEEF AND NOODLES 
1/2 lb. beef, cut in cubes or thin slivers
3 tbsp. oil
1 onion, sliced thin
10 sliced fresh mushrooms
1/4 c. soy sauce
1/2 c. water
Salt & pepper
Strips of green pepper, optional
1 can crisp Chinese noodles

Brown beef in oil. Add onion slices. Mix in soy sauce and water, mushrooms, etc. Simmer covered about 25-30 minutes. Add more water if needed. Thicken gravy and serve on warmed Chinese noodles. Serves 4.
