BAKED APPLE PUFFS 
6 apples, baking size
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2/3 c. flour, sifted
1/4 tsp. baking powder
Dash of salt
10 tbsp. sugar
1 egg, slightly beaten
3 tbsp. melted butter
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon. Roll the apples in the mixture. Place in buttered individual casseroles.

Fill the apple centers with the remaining sugar cinnamon mixture. Sift the flour, salt, 10 tablespoons sugar together. Add the remaining ingredients, beating well. Spoon 2 tablespoons of the batter over each apple. Bake at 375 degrees for 40-45 minutes, or until done.
