POTATO CASSEROLE 
3/4 stick melted butter
12 oz. (frozen) hash browns
1 (8 oz.) box sour cream
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/2 c. onions
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Mix together melted butter and other ingredients. (I put a little water in my soup can, and pour it into the mixture.) This keeps it from being to dry. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes in buttered casserole dish.

TOPPING:

1 1/2 c. crushed cornflakes
1/4 stick butter

Spread over casserole, and brown.
