Excellent! Big hit! Very easy to prepare. Cream cheese and cool whip give it a great taste. I would decrease the milk about a 1/4 cup or increase the amount of cookies by a half box to give a slightly better consistency. Great recipe!

My neighbor has made this for several get togethers but guards the recipe with her life! It is always a huge hit with people begging to take home the leftovers if there are any. She puts extra cool whip on top. I am definitely going to make this... as I cook a lot and have made other pudding recipes, I too would cut the milk down on this to about 2 cups.

I make this for Thanksgiving every year, and it is always a great hit. I like to layer the mixture with the cookies, bananas, and another container of cool whip in a trifle bowl - makes for a beautiful presentation. I also use banana cream instant pudding instead of vanilla so it's super banana-y! I don't see anything wrong with the amount of milk as long as it has time to set in the refrigerator before serving.

I used this recipe as a foundation along with all organic ingredients. Instead of Eagle Brand milk, I used organic Egg Nog and no cool whip. I also used vanilla yogurt and no pudding. Great recipe--yummy!

I have made this recipe for years.I got it from my cousin so I've been known to tell people it's an old family recipe. Everyone wants me to make it when there's a neighborhood get together. When I was working we had a lunch bunch every Wed. and everyone wanted me to make it. You've blown my cover!!

I had never made banana pudding ever in my life but when I was dating my husband I knew he loved it so I knew I needed to learn how to make it. I used this recipe (added 1/2 cup sugar & only 1 cup milk) and he went to church and told all of his Deacon friends that his wife made a banana pudding just like his mama's. Also our entire family loves it. Their response was "The Pudding...Oh the pudding". Big hit! They don't know that the secret is the cream cheese and the Cool Whip LOL.

Never really cared much for banana pudding at all until I tried this one day at a lunch gathering at work. I loved this banana pudding so much I just had to have the recipe! My 6-yr old grandson will say, "Mimi, Let's make your banana pudding!"
