BANANA CREAM DESSERT 
CRUST:

1/2 c. butter
1 c. flour
1/2 c. finely chopped nuts

FILLING:

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 (8 oz.) carton Cool Whip
3 bananas, sliced
2 sm. pkgs. instant vanilla pudding
2 c. milk
1/2 c. toasted coconut (optional)

Blend butter and flour until crumbly; add nuts. Press into bottom of 13"x9" pan and bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. Remove and cool. With electric mixer, blend cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Fold in 1 cup Cool Whip and spread over crust. Arrange bananas evenly over cream cheese mixture. Mix pudding and milk. Spread over bananas. Spread this with remaining Cool Whip and coconut.
