1 c. butter
1 c. vegetable oil
1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. powdered sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. salt

Cream butter, vegetable oil, granulated sugar and sugar and add eggs and vanilla. Combine flour, baking soda, cream of tartar and salt. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture.

Drop 1/2 teaspoon drops onto baking sheets sprayed lightly with Pam. Flatten drops by dipping bottom of glass into granulated sugar. Wrap wax paper around bottom of glass to help from sticking. Bake 8 to 9 minutes at 375 degree preheated oven. Remove cookies immediately from pan.
