SHOO--FLY PIE 
2 prepared pie crusts

CRUMB MIXTURE:

2 c. flour
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. butter
1/2 c. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon

Mix together in a bowl until crumbs are formed.

SYRUP MIXTURE:

1 c. molasses
2 eggs
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. baking soda, dissolved in 1 c. hot water

In a separate bowl, mix syrup ingredients. Pour half into pie crust, then add half of crumb mixture, repeat with other pie crust. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
