BAKED APPLE AND CARROT CASSEROLE 
6 apples, peeled, cored and thinly sliced
2 c. cooked carrot slices
1/3 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. flour
3/4 c. orange juice
Pinch of salt

In 2-quart greased casserole place half of the apple slices. Cover with half of the carrots. Mix brown sugar, flour and salt; sprinkle half the the mixture over carrots. Repeat layers and pour orange juice over top. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Serves 6. Delicious with ham or turkey dinner.
