BAKED APPLE AND CARROT CASSEROLE 
5 apples, thinly sliced
6 tbsp. sugar or more
2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
4 cups cooked carrots, sliced lengthwise
3/4 cup orange juice

Place layer of apples, then layer of carrots, then sprinkle with mixture of sugar and flour. Repeat until all ingredients are used. Pour juice over all. Bake at 350°F for 20 to 30 minutes.

Serves 6 to 8.
