NO CRUST APPLE PIE 
6 cooking apples
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 stick butter
1/4 tsp. salt

Combine first 5 ingredients in large saucepan. Simmer 8 to 10 minutes or until apples are tender. Put in 9-inch pie plate. Combine flour, baking powder, brown sugar, and salt. Cut in butter. Sprinkle crumb mixture over apples. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
