1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 c. bread crumbs (soft)
1/2 c. milk
3 tbsp. Heinz 57 sauce
1 1/4 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper (black)

Combine ingredients thoroughly. Shape in loaf (8x4x1 1/2) pan, slightly greased. Brush top with more Heinz 57 sauce if desired. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour. Allow loaf to stand 5 minutes before serving. Makes 8 servings.
