GERMAN APPLE CAKE | |
2 eggs 1 c. vegetable oil 2 c. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. baking soda 1 1/2 tsp. water 2 c. flour 2 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. salt 1 c. chopped nuts 4 c. very thin sliced apples FROSTING: 3 oz. cream cheese 1 1/2 tbsp. melted butter 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1 c. powdered sugar Mix eggs, vegetable oil, sugar and vanilla together. Dissolve 1 teaspoon baking soda in 1 1/2 teaspoons water and add to above mixture. Add the rest of ingredients. Spread in a greased 9"x13" pan. Bake 50 to 60 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool and frost. |
