“SLUSH PUNCH” IS IN:

SLUSH PUNCH 
4 ripe bananas
1 12 oz can frozen lemonade
1 12 oz can frozen orange concentrate
1 46 oz. can pineapple juice
6 cups water or soda water
2 cups sugar
4 quarts Fresca or Sprite (non-diet)

In a blender, process bananas and lemonade concentrate until smooth. Put blended mixture into a 5 quart drink cooler or food grade bucket. Add remaining ingredients (except Fresca or Sprite) and freeze overnight.

One hour before using, thaw frozen mixture partially; add half to the punch bowl with two quarts of Fresca or Sprite. Mix to make a slush and serve. Keep remaining slush mixture cold or partially frozen until ready to serve the second half.

When the first batch is served out, make the second batch with remaining slush and 2 quarts Fresca or Sprite.

I make this all the time. Got the recipe from a family friend named, Evelyn, so I call it Evelyn's Punch. Very refreshing and I make it in the summer for a glassful on hot days.

I heat the sugar with the pineapple juice so its not grainy, then add the other juices. It fits good in a 5 quart ice cream bucket.
