BILL'S SPICY SAUSAGE BALLS | |
Sausage balls may be prepared in advance and frozen. Thaw before cooking for best results. 2 (1 lb. ea.) rolls Jimmy Dean hot sausage 12 oz. sharp cheddar or Vermont white cheddar, grated 12 oz. pepper jack cheese, grated 4 cups Bisquick baking mix 1/4 tsp. red cayenne pepper Mix all ingredients thoroughly. Kneading will be required. Roll into 1-inch balls. Bake at 400°F for 12 to 17 minutes or until browned. Note: These will rise so they will be larger than 1-inch when done. Serve warm. Remember there is cheese in them so don't bite into one if too hot! Makes about 60 sausage balls. Submitted by: Bill Osborn |
