AU GRATIN POTATOES 
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. milk
1 c. shredded cheese (American or Cheddar)
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
5 c. peeled, sliced potatoes
1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
1 tbsp. melted butter

Heat oven to 350 degrees. In medium saucepan, melt butter; stir in flour and salt. Add milk, stir to combine. Cook until mixture boils and thickens, stirring constantly. Stir in cheeses and potatoes.

Pour into 2 quart casserole. Combine crumbs with melted butter; sprinkle over potatoes. Bake uncovered 1-1 1/2 hours until bubbly. 6 servings.
