12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips 12 oz. butterscotch chips 2 c. crunchy peanut butter Melt the above. Put 1/2 of the mixture in buttered jelly roll pan. Put in freezer. Combine 1 cup butter, 1/2 cup Carnation evaporated milk, 1 cup dry vanilla pudding, 1 1/2 teaspoon maple flavoring. Boil the above mixture 1 minute, pour in 2 pounds of powdered sugar (about 7 cups) stir until smooth. Put on top of the chocolate layer. Add 2 cups salted peanuts to the rest of chocolate mixture and spread over top. Put in freezer to set (or refrigerator). Cut up and put candy in container and store in refrigerator. |
