LEMON GLAZE CAKE 
1 yellow cake mix
1 pkg. lemon Jello
4 eggs
3/4 c. vegetable oil
3/4 c. water
1 tsp. lemon extract

GLAZE:

1 c. powdered sugar
1/3 c. lemon juice

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Mix cake mix and Jello. Add eggs, oil, water and lemon extract, and mix well. Pour into 9 x 13 inch buttered pan and bake for 30 to 35 minutes. When done, let cool for 15 to 20 minutes.

Mix ingredients for glaze and pour over cake.

I was so happy to see this recipe as I used to make something very similar and couldn't find the directions. With mine, I poked the partially cooled cake all over with a fork before putting the glaze on. Delicious! Thanks

I used to make this cake when I was growing up and now I make it for my children - it is always a favorite! I don't add the extract to the cake and I also poke holes in the cake and then pour the glaze over it while it is still warm. Plus, you may want to double the powdered sugar in the glaze. Perfect cake for summer!
