PEPPERMINT HOT COCOA 
4 cups whole or 2% milk
4 (1 oz. ea.) squares semi-sweet chocolate, coarsely chopped
4 Spangler Candy Canes, crushed/powdered
4 Spangler Candy Canes, for stir sticks
whipped cream

Place four unwrapped Spangler candy canes in a plastic baggie. Use a rolling pin to break until finely crushed. Try to your best ability to avoid large pieces, they are more difficult to melt.

Heat milk in a saucepan over medium heat. Once milk begins to steam, add chocolate and crushed candy canes. Stir until melted and smooth.

Evenly pour mixture into four mugs. Top with whipped cream, if you would like and a sprinkle of crushed candy canes.

Add one candy cane to each mug to use as a stir stick.
