APPLE CRISP 
4 c. sliced apples
2/3 to 3/4 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. rolled oats
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/3 c. soft butter

Heat oven to 375°F. Place sliced apple in greased square pan 8 x 8 x 2 or a baking dish. Blend remaining ingredients until mixture is crumbly. Spread over apples.

Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until apples are tender and the topping is golden brown.
