1 lb. lean hot sausage 1 lb. lean sage sausage 1/3 bottle cayenne hot sauce 1/4 c. crushed red pepper 1 jar sliced jalapenos 1/8 c. cocoa Mustard 1-1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef 1/2 c. lemon juice 1 tbsp. hickory salt 2 tbsp. Cajun blackened fish seasoning 2/3 c. chili powder 1-2 tbsp. cayenne pepper 1 tbsp. onion flakes 16 oz. tomato sauce In a quite large skillet completely cook and brown all sausage. Drain excess fat. Add tomato sauce, onion, cayenne pepper, chili powder. Bring to boil, then reduce to simmer, stirring occasionally. Add water as needed. Add jalapenos. In a separate skillet brown beef. Drain fat. Immediately add lemon juice. Add hickory salt, fish seasoning to cooked beef. Stir beef into sausage mixture. Add hot sauce, mustard, red pepper, cocoa. Serve however you like to whomever you like (or dislike) and enjoy. (You may use a 4-ounce package of chili seasoning as a starter and build from there.) |
