BARBEQUED STRING BEANS 
2 cans French style green beans, regular size, drained
4 slices bacon, cut fine
1/4 c. onion, chopped
1/2 c. catsup
1/4 c. brown sugar

Cook bacon and onions together until bacon is crisp. Add 1/2 cup catsup and 1/4 cup brown sugar. Simmer all four ingredients together, leaving bacon fat on. Simmer about 2 minutes. Put beans in casserole, then pour the other ingredients on top. Don't stir. Bake uncovered for 45 minutes at 325 degrees.
