MARY BETH'S STRING BEAN
CASSEROLE
 
4 boxes or 2 bags French green beans (frozen)
1 chopped onion
5 tbsp. butter
Flour - to paste
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. dill, salt, chopped mushroom and bacon bits
1 1/2 lg. containers sour cream
8 oz. grated Swiss cheese
Paprika

Cook green beans partially. In saucepan brown onions in butter and add flour to make paste. Add lemon juice, dill, salt, mushrooms, bacon bits and sour cream. Turn into buttered casserole dish. Top with cheese and sprinkle with paprika. Bake 20-30 minutes at 300 degrees. Serves 10-16.
