HUNGARIAN CREAM CAKE 
2 c. sifted cake flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
1 1/4 c. heavy cream
1 tsp. vanilla

Sift flour once; measure, add baking powder and salt; sift together 3 times. Gradually add sugar to eggs and beat well. Add flour alternately with cream, a small amount at a time. Beat after each addition, until smooth. Add vanilla.

Bake in greased 9"x5"x3" pan at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes. If desired, spread chocolate frosting on top and sides of cake.
