HUNGARIAN CAKE 
2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 lb. butter
4 egg yolks
1 tbsp. lemon juice
4 heaping tbsp. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. sugar

Work in butter with sugar, add yolks, slightly beaten. Add lemon juice and vanilla, the sifted flour, salt, baking powder, and sour cream. Batter will be thick, spread in ungreased pan. Then spread Lekvar on top of thick batter. Then on top of that you put the 4 beaten egg whites with 3/4 cups of sugar, beaten stiff. Add 1/2 cup ground fine walnuts over the egg whites.

Pan size 9 x 13-inches at 325 degrees for 30 minutes or until done.
