CARROTS AU GRATIN | |
2 c. crushed Corn Flakes 3 tbsp. butter, melted (combine with Corn Flakes) 2 c. thin sliced carrots 1/4 c. onion 1/2 c. water 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/4 c. butter 1/4 c. flour 1 1/2 c. milk 1/3 c. grated cheese 1 tbsp. parsley Simmer carrots, onion, salt, pepper and water until tender; drain. Make sauce with remaining ingredients. Stir into carrot mixture and pour into baking dish. Sprinkle with crumb mixture. Bake at 325 degrees for 20 minutes. |
