BEEF WITH OYSTER SAUCE 
1 lb. beef, cut in very thin slices

Marinate in:

2 tsp. sugar
1 tbsp. soy sauce
Drop of sesame oil
1 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. water
Vegetables: broccoli, snow peas, or mushrooms or a combination

For broccoli: Cut into 1 1/2 long pieces. Par boil 1 minute. Drain, heat pan with little oil. Stir fry, sprinkle with little wine, 1/2 teaspoon sugar and salt. Remove to plate.

Heat pan again and pour 2-3 tablespoons oil. Stir fry thin slice of ginger root and beef, and cook until just done. Add sauce.

SAUCE:

2 tbsp. oyster sauce
1/2 tsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. water
1 tsp. sugar
1 tbsp. soy sauce

Mix with vegetables and serve hot with rice.
