CHEWY CHOCOLATE HAZELNUT COOKIES 
1 1/4 c. butter, softened
1/3 c. vegetable oil
1 1/4 c. brown sugar
1 1/4 c. white sugar
2 eggs
2 1/4 tsp.vanilla
1 3/4 c. flour
3/4 c. whole wheat flour
1 c. cocoa
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. roasted chopped hazelnuts

Beat in eggs and vanilla. In separate bowl, combine flours, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Gradually blend into creamed mixture. Stir in hazelnuts.

Drop by tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 8-9 minutes (do not over bake - cookies will be soft). Cool slightly before removing from sheet. Yields: 4 dozen cookies.

YUMMMMY!!!! Directions missing first step, but not hard to figure out. Be sure to roast nuts to get that extra flavor & use your best cocoa. Delicious, delicate cookies.
