2 squares (1 oz. each) unsweetened chocolate
1 stick butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 (9 inch) pie shell, unbaked
1/2 cup nuts, chopped (if desired)

Melt chocolate and butter. Beat eggs and add to chocolate. Stir in sugar (add nuts, if using). Pour in pie shell and bake in preheated 350°F oven 25 minutes.
