2 eggs
1/4 c. and 2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. scalded milk
1 unbaked pastry shell

Beat eggs, vanilla and sugar together. Add scalded milk and blend into egg mixture. Pour into pie shell. Sprinkle with nutmeg.

Bake at 450°F for 20 minutes or until slightly set. Remove and let cool.
