CRESCENT DELIGHTS 
2 1/2 c. flour
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 pkg. yeast
1/8 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. water
1/4 c. butter
Melted butter

Combine 1 cup flour, sugar, salt, soda and dry yeast. Heat buttermilk, water and 1/4 cup butter to 120 to 130 degrees. Add to dry ingredients. Beat 2 minutes at medium speed. Add 1/2 cup flour. Beat - high speed for 2 minutes. Mix additional flour. Put on floured board. Knead 8 to 10 minutes. Place in greased bowl. Grease, cover and let rise, about 1 1/2 hours. Make into dinner buns, cinnamon rolls or crescent dinner rolls. May be frozen.

STREUSEL TOPPING:

1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. soft butter
1 tsp. vanilla
