3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. shortening

Mix first batch as pie crust until flaky. Add: 1 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 tsp. each lemon and vanilla

Mix into first and chill. Roll out dough and cut with cookie cutters or take small portion of dough and flatten with glass. Bake at 350 degrees until lightly brown.
