GLAZED PEACH PIE 
9 inch pastry shell, baked & cooled
3 to 4 c. sliced fresh peaches
1 c. mashed, finely chopped peaches
1/2 c. water
1 c. sugar
2 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. butter

Pour sliced peaches into pastry shell. Prepare glaze: Put mashed peaches, water, sugar and cornstarch in saucepan; bring to boil and boil for 2 minutes or until clear. Add butter and cool. Spoon over peaches. Cool and cover with Cool Whip or whipped cream.
