TWINKIE CAKE 
1 yellow cake mix
5 tbsp. flour
1 c. milk
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Bake cake mix according to directions in a 9 x 13 inch pan. Cool completely. Meanwhile, in double boiler place flour and milk and boil, stirring constantly until thick as paste. Cool. Combine sugar, Crisco, butter and vanilla and beat in electric mixer until fluffy. Add thickened milk mixture to sugar mixture and beat again until fluffy. Slice cake horizontally using dental floss or double strand of thread. Frost bottom layer. Replace top layer of cake.
