SEVEN LAYER SALAD 
1 lg. head lettuce
1 1/2 c. celery, chopped
1 1/2 c. red onion, chopped
1 1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
1/2 to 1 pkg. (10 oz.) peas, slightly thawed
1 pt. Hellman's mayonnaise
1 bar cheddar cheese, shredded
1 lb. bacon, very crisp & crumbled

In a large bowl, layer each item separately one on top of the other. Spread mayonnaise on top of peas. Sprinkle with cheese and bacon. Cover and refrigerate 6 to 7 hours or overnight. Toss just before serving.
