BBQ CHIP CHOP | |
This is very inexpensive and makes a lot for a crowd, football games etc. Great for someone on a very tight budget. We were fed this as kids and I always get the craving for it now and again! 4 tbsp. (1/2 stick) butter 1 small onion, sliced 2 tsp. vinegar 4 tsp. brown sugar (I now use a sugar substitute) 1/2 bottle ketchup (Hunts) 1 1/2 lb. "Chipped Chopped" ham from deli (thin sliced ham chopped up) Melt butter in large saucepan. Add onions and simmer to thin. Add vinegar, brown sugar and ketchup - heat until warm. Add meat and cook on low until meat is hot. Serve on rolls or bun. Submitted by: A.J. Reed |
